Description
Responsible for pre-sale and/or post-sale support of Synthesis core products such as Design Compiler, Power Compiler, DFT Compiler, Formality and PrimeTime. Part time support FPGA design with Synplify Pro/Premier. Provides technical support in sales presentations, product demonstrations and installation, and maintenance of ASIC synthesis and FPGA synthesis core products to ensure that the system is functioning according to specifications. Provides consulting-level answers to customer inquiries concerning system software and applications. Expected to refine problem descriptions and develop technical solutions. Works with ACs/DTM/Sales. Write SolveNet articles. Sets project-level goals. Actively involved in setting and implementing strategy.


Requirements:
MSEE, or equivalent required with 3+ years of experience, or BSEE or equivalent with 5+ years of experience. Experiences should include FPGA and ASIC design. Skills required in FPGA synthesis, RTL Synthesis and STA for digital IC design. Experiences in DFT and formal verification is desired. Excellent verbal and written presentation/communication skills are mandatory. Customer sensitivity, the ability to multiplex many issues & set priorities and have a helpful/caring attitude towards customers, and the desire to help customers exploit new technologies are essential for success in the position.
