Senior FPGA engineer

We are looking for FPGA engineers to work in an international work environment. For this position we will need experienced engineers, please do not apply unless you possess the required experience.

Location: Shanghai

Job description
The main duties in this position are:
Participate in outlining product architecture definition and derive the low level FPGA specification.
Control the logic design including component selection, pin definition, architecture, simulation, synthesis, place & route and debugging on board.
Liaison with category managers, suppliers and other relevant functions for quality assurance.

Essential required qualifications
M.Sc.or B.Sc. or similar degree in electronics or electrical engineering.
A minimum of 3 years experience in FPGA design.
Complete understanding of the FPGA design flow.
Design background in OTN, PDH, SDH,WDM or packet based telecommunication equipment.
Experience in implementation of protocols, high speed interface (SPI4.2, Interlaken, DDRII etc.)
Experience in board level simulations and verification.
Knowledge of board level circuit and embedded SW development.
Knowledge of Micro-processor and network processor environments
Proficiency in MicroSoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.


Additional required qualifications
Excellent written and good spoken English.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Design experience of Data forwarding engine or Traffic Manager is a plus.
Experience in OTN (optical transport network) is a plus.
Ability to communicate and work in a multicultural environment.
Initiative and willing to work on his/her own.
Ability to work on multiple and complex tasks.
Innovative problem solving capabilities.
